

Firmware - 112k5 - KODI
The following Firmware is build number 112k5. You can check your build number under Settings -> Other.
After startup, apps will install in the background. This process takes 5-10min

Download the 112k5.zip Firmware from a PC on to a flash drive or sd card from here
You have two options how to install.
Via App (beginner):
1. Start your unit as usual
2. Insert the sd card or flash drive and navigate to My Apps/All Apps on the box
3. Select the App "Update&Backup" - do not check wipe data!
4. On local update click on "Select" and navigate to the 112k5.zip file - select it
5. Click "Update" - not online update! Just next to select
6. The system will automatically boot into recovery and install the new firmware
7. Make sure to unplug the flash drive after the firmware is flashed
Via Recovery (advanced):
1. Unplug the unit - NO sd card or flash drive inserted
2. With a toothpick press and hold the reset button which resides inside the AV port and plug-in/start the unit
3. Hold the button until the recovery screen appears
4. Insert the SD card or flash drve
5. Select Wipe Data (continue here if you selected to start into recovery from RashR)
6. Select 'apply update from EXT'
7. Select 'sdcard' or 'udisk'
8. Select the 112k5.zip file
The update will start to install, afterwards unplug the flash drive or sd card and select reboot now.

Attention!
All installed apps and addons will be deleted when installing the firmware.
After starting Kodi for the 1st time, superuser access must be granted.
Your favorite addons can be installed in Kodi via programs -> total installer.
Or install community builds from users of total installer which will completely customize kodi.

FAQ
Video Resolution
The Video Resolution is usually automatically set by the unit. To change the resolution go to Settings -> Display and turn off HDMI auto-detection. The resolution can now be selected manually. Be aware just the resolution recognized bu the unit from your TV is available, e.g. if your TV is not a 4K TV, this resolution is not selectable.
Audio
Audio can be set in Settings -> Advanced -> PCM
Here you're able to select different modes from HDMI to DTS.
AV Problems
The unit is set automatically to HDMI output mode on first time startup. This will cause horizontal moving lines to show up if you're connected through AV. Go to Settings -> Display and switch off the HDMI autodetection.
Google TV Remote
To activate the Google TV Remote go to Settings -> Advanced -> turn on Google TV remote
Download the Google TV Remote app from the play store or app store and make sure your phone or tablet are on the same network as the unit. Once started up, your handheld device should recognize the unit.
Android Settings
Go to Settings -> Other -> More
Uninstall an App
Start the Android Settings -> Apps now select the app you'd like to uninstall. Go to the right to see ALL apps. Select your app and select uninstall.
